What is WSQ?
Singapore's national skills system, explained in plain English.
WSQ stands for Workforce Skills Qualifications. It is Singapore's national skills framework for workplace-ready training and certification. Courses are modular, practical, and built to help working adults upskill without committing to a long degree path straight away.
Most courses lead to a Statement of Attainment. Over time, these stack into larger credentials. That matters if you want to build capability step by step rather than bet everything on one expensive programme.

SkillsFuture funding can cover up to 90% of your course fees. Here is what matters most before you register.
Mid-career support credit
Singaporeans aged 40 to 60 may have an additional credit pool to offset approved training costs.
Course fee subsidy
Eligible Singapore Citizens and PRs can receive 70% support, or up to 90% if they qualify for the enhanced mid-career subsidy.
Training allowance ceiling
Full-time training support can reach 50% of average income, capped at $3,000 a month. Part-time support is rolling out at a flat monthly rate.
Example: a leadership course priced at $3,000 could fall to roughly $300 if you qualify for a 90% subsidy, and even lower if you use available SkillsFuture credit.

Register with the provider
Sign up through an SSG-approved training provider or Approved Training Organisation.
Claim your support
Submit your SkillsFuture Credit claim through the MySkillsFuture portal if the course allows it.
Complete and collect
Attend at least 75% of the course, pass the assessments, and receive your Statement of Attainment.
